Friday we departed from Santiago for the next leg of our Spanish tour.
Next stop Villafranca del Bierzo, a village in the province of Leon on the "Way of St. James" pilgrimage route.
Here I wandered the streets and discovered a beautifully manicured park lined with plane trees.
We found a quiet sunny corner cafe serving light Turkish dishes for our supper this evening ...
