Pampering at the "Peluqueria" in Pamplona.

On the road again ... Leon to Pamplona!

The landscape started out as flat plains until we reached the Burgos area and we again tunneled through the great mountains and traversed over many viaducts with much more interesting views.

As we ventured out to check out the city of Pamplona ... The streets were covered in straw and I at first thought this had something to do with the "running of the Bulls".

When we inquired we learnt that there had been a Procession ... and later in the day we saw the children in their Communion attire... so it may have been a Church procession.

.........................

The morning before leaving Pamplona ... we went in search of a cafe for a light breakfast and coffee.

We walked by the "Peluqueria" ... Spanish for hairdresser, barber etc.

Señor Honey was long overdue for a haircut ... in we went and soon he was in the chair.

As I watched I wondered if my Señor Honey would come out looking like the guy in the poster on the left ...

Here is my new Señor Honey ... all smiles with his new look!

Finally, our morning coffee at the café where Hemingway spent many hours...

What a grand building ...

One last stroll around the Center ...

Then it was time to pack up and hit the road for our last stop before heading back to the Lot Valley ...
