Test Post using iPad

We've purchased a new iPad and I'm testing it to see if blogging will be as easy as it was with my trusted "Red Notebook".

"Red" was a recycled, reused, repurposed mini computer that my son, Stephen lent me before we went on our last adventure to France.

Familiarity is a comfortable feeling. I have a special attachment to "Red" because I know how it works ...and this is even more important as you age.

With an open mind and an "iPad for Dummies" book, I'm hopeful that this little machine will become just as familiar and as "Red".

Here's a photo of "Red'.

Some of Our Favorite Postcards and Correction Notice!

I was trying to enlarge some photos and in doing so, some of the posts ended up getting moved out of order....the first three posts are older stories...the most recent posts start at:

Making the Most of our Last Days in France

Last Hurrah in Gourdon

We also wanted to share some of our favorite photo postcards of our times in the Lot and Dordogne Valley and also some special times in Collioure on the Mediterranean...the photos are not in any particular order.

This is our final post.

Spring has Sprung!

The magnolias are in full bloom..and the cherry and fruit trees are at their peak.

Temperatures this week have been a bit cooler, but today sunny and temp peaked at 24 degrees...I think.

These magnolias are in a War Memorial Park next to the Cafe Promenade (our Wi-Fi hookup).

We are sitting outside on the terrace at the Cafe (5:20PM) toasting our son, Stephen's birthday today.
