Market Day- Saturday

Up early and off to the Town Market held in the Post Office Square.

Place was full of vendors with an amazing array of fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, cheeses  and baked goods.

Came home with a cornucopia of goodies..

Since our cell phone was not working we went searching for a phone store, only to find out that the Sim Card was for Italy...now in business with a French number.

So far, have not been able to connect to the Internet until today (Monday)

Discovery Day- Friday 02 March

Woke to sunshine and pleasant temperatures.
Msr. Bruce did the morning run to the Boulangerie for croissants and baguettes.
Spent morning unpacking and settling in at the cottage. Early afternoon, landlady drove us to a large Supermarket; where we stocked up on essentials.
Wandered around the town (which is larger and more active than we anticipated...good thing) and stumbled upon the landlord on the main street and were invited to their house for Gin and Tonics.
Home for supper and some fantastic pastries from the local Pastisserie......

Then off to bed for a good night sleep.

Hurry Up and Wait Day- Part Two

Trip was smooth until we arrived at CDG Paris, ok, hurry find info for connection to Toulouse, Ok Gate F29 boarding at 10AM for 10:25AM departure, good... enough time “pour un café”…then hurried up to wait at gate, only to find out flight delayed to 12PM, and then again another delay to 12:30PM.
Finally on board, for a quick cat nap (not much sleep so far) and arrival in Toulouse (such an easy airport) at 2PM ...10 minute bus ride to train station, just under two hour train ride arriving in Gourdon at 6:14PM to be greeted by our landlord.
Finally, here in our small but perfect home for 3 months!
