Drove Picasso to Sarlat on a rainy afternoon to check out the town; it looks wonderful and it will definitely take a day or two to explore.

A Venus Birthday!

04 April 2012- was our friend B's birthday, so we joined him and his wife C for a night out of celebration in Prayssac.

We enjoyed a lovely meal together.

Smoked salmon salad with a lemon cream

Graeme and C had the Duck Breast

My choice this evening was the entre-cote et frites /steak frites...it was delicious

3 of us had the chocolate cake , ice cream and creme anglais ...so tasty.

B's choice for his Birthday cake was the apple tart and ice cream.

We got a Picasso............

No, not a Picasso drawing, a car ......

A Citroen Picasso, with a 2 Litre Diesel, 5-speed manual gear box, this vehicle is larger than we would have preferred (thanks to Kathi's luggage).

Follow for more stories about the car...the lanes and streets and even some of what they call highways are very narrow. We have a GPS called Molly whom we hope will get us where we want to go.

It will service us well with style and economy.
