We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the market here last week, we needed to pickup a few things and I needed a final "Market" fix before we return home plus we wanted to try the restaurant we couldn't get into last week.
Actually, there were several we could not get a table at, if you remember the restaurants were all "Complet" / full &/or had been reserved.
We arrived earlier today than last week and before any shopping we headed directly to the restaurant in hopes that we could make a reservation for lunch today!
The restaurant was not open (sign in window "fermé" ... opening at 11:45A.M) the door however was open and I sent a greeting through the entrance of "Bonjour! Bonjour!" ... eventually the chef/owner came out of the kitchen.
After some pleasantries, I asked to reserve a table for two for today's lunchtime. I explained that we had tried to eat here the previous week.
The chef was very friendly and took the reservation.
When we arrived at 12:30 PM, again all the tables had reserved signs on them ... we were happy that we had made the reservation.

Oh yes please ... Let's get a "pain aux raisin et une croissant" and find a café!
This first time in the six weeks we've been away, we enjoyed a little indulgence for breakfast ... love it!
Olive oils and tapenades ...
Every flavour of vinegar ... all natural.
We even ran into an old friend ... Miss "Happy, Happy", remember her from the shop in Tossa de Mar?
Pretty pink peonies ... just gorgeous!
My challenge is to find out what this plant is and see if we can grow it in our garden ...
The view from our table ... beautiful white oleander overlooking the square.
Starter ... Creamy cauliflower soup with shrimp.
Main course ... Chicken supreme served on top of basmati rice with a zucchini galette.
The pièce de résistance... Our dessert - a short bread type of cake with cherries, and the spoon was also made from the pastry. Delicious!
